Personal information is contained in the collective Application Forms, and Academic, Behavioural and other Assessments. At the time of making application for a Franchise we also obtain your consent to verify the accuracy of the information your provide us with appropriate third parties (eg but not limited to financial and legal institutions, previous employers). If you are successful as a Franchisee the personal information that you provided will form the part of our business relationship records. If your application is not successful you are invited to ask the information to be returned or destroyed. You will need to provide us with personal information if you seek employment with the Franchisor or in one of our Franchised stores. This enables us to contact you and to assess the suitability of your application. At the time of making application for employment we also obtain your consent to verify the accuracy of the information your provide us with appropriate third parties (eg but not limited to referees, previous employers). If you are successful as an employee the personal information that you provided will form the part of our employment records. If your application is not successful your application will be destroyed, unless you request for it to be returned. Aged Information Where information is no longer needed for its intended purpose, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such information is destroyed, or where retained for the purposes of historical or trend analysis de-identified. Banjo’s do not keep unsuccessful job applications or resumes on file. If you wish to reapply for another position you must submit a fresh application or resume. Accuracy is Important We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information that we collect is accurate, complete and up to date. Banjo’s will, where reasonably practicable, provide you with access to the information you have provided and make any changes to keep such information updated and accurate.
